What do you put in goody bags? Various ages!
We're inviting mostly kids 2 and under for DS' 1st birthday, but we also have two 5 year olds and a few over 7.
What the heck do I put in the goody bags? Do I do something different based on the ages?
I figured they could all get stickers. Then maybe a ball of some sort? Bubbles maybe for all of them.
Younger kids - what else can I put. I don't want anything that could be a choking hazard, but I also don't want to give just "junk".
Older kids - ?

I did different things based on their ages. Every kid got a cupcake and then the younger kids got little board books and/or flash cards (all from the $1 bin at Target). The older kids got coloring books and crayons.

Those are all really good ideas. I've also done Baby Mum Mums and/or puffs for the little ones and the archer farms fruit strips and healthier granola/candy bars for the older ones. Glow in the dark bracelets or wands went over well too.

We gave everyone the same thing. A pail, a ball, bubbles, stickers.

Re: What do you put in goody bags? Various ages!
I decided not to do goody bags this year. DD's birthday is right after Christmas so I thought an edible favor might be better. I bought a star chocolate mold the held a prezel stick for the handle and made lolipops. I put them in little vases and each kid (and some of the adults took one on the way out.
eta: We had kids that ranged in age from 2 - 9

I agree, if possible, I'd do an edible favor or a gift certificate (Mcdonalds or carvel) or someplace. It seems kiddos have more than enough little toys.
