An ice pack in an insulated lunch bag should keep anything you send in cold....
For Cailen, I would probably do mac n cheese, chicken nuggets (well - veggie nuggets for us), and gogurt and fruit for dessert

Is there a no peanut policy?
If not, I send in frozen Uncrustables...

I send them in the same I would send them with every day. I put their lunch in their back packs at 7:15 am and they don't eat lunch until almost noon. I usually do a turkey sandwich or jelly sandwich (peanut free school). Piece of fruit and a juice box. I hardly ever pack their lunch with an ice pack. Unless I send in a yogurt.
