What do you take for indigestion / heartburn?
Hi,
I have yet another pregnancy symptom to deal with - as one leaves, another quickly takes its place.
What can I take to relieve some indigestion / heartburn? I'm having it more often now, the feeling of the acid coming up even woke me up at 5 AM the other day. Aggh!

i live on Tums...jumbo size in Costco...tropical fruit flavor. i carry a zipplock of them in my bag since I have it all day

I got the OK to take Pepcid AC last week, and OMG, what a life saver it has been. I used to wake up in the middle of the night with heartburn, now it doesn't bother me at all.

i took TUMS throughout my whole PG. 2 weeks ago (i'm 39w4d now) i started taking Prilosec and it has been a LIFESAVER. At the very end, TUMS was doing nothing for me (not even a few minutes of relief). Still, i was glad i held out as long as i did b/c i really didnt feel comfortable taking any real meds until it was completely necessary.

im on prevacid now b/c the acid was so bad coming up, i couldnt keep food down.
tums, pepcid, zantac, nothing worked. So here i am taking prevacid every morning and its worked well. i still have the reflux going on, but its definitely more bearable.

I've been taking Tums Ultra 1000 & up until recently they've really worked well for me. Feel better
