What do you think is a better age gap
So I am trying to plan (nice for a change ) 3rd.
Do you think it would be better to have DD be 28 months old and DS 3.5 or have them 3 and 4.5yrs old?
At first I want the larger gap but now I am thinking I might as well get over all the baby stuff. Plus DS will be in school when he turns.

Personally, I think the 3 and 4.5 age difference sounds DREAMY! But, I am planning on at least 3 years apart, so...

Well, I am the wrong one to ask, but you asked:
DS # 1 and DS # 2 are 20 months apart.
DS # 2 and DD are 26 months apart.

Re: What do you think is a better age gap
I wanted my children to be two years apart, but life chose other...they are 3.5 yrs apart and I love it. I love that my son can dress himself, zip his coat, buckle his carseat, etc. etc. It makes life for me so much easier. He also is good with the baby and is really starting to enjoy playing with her. He fed her her first bottle and got her to take cereal off a spoon when noone else could. He is convinced he is teaching her everything. I wouldn't have this any other way.
Still I know the plus side to having them closer together, . They can be more of playmates, and you get the crazy baby/toddler yrs over with at once.

I'd say get it over with now. The closer in age the better ( I think, I hope so).

Re: What do you think is a better age gap
after having 2 so close in age, if I was having a 3rd, which I am absolutely NOT, I would do the larger gap...
