What do you think of this as a Dec/Jan going-home outfit-Team green?
My mom got me this adorable outfit from The Children's Place. The jacket and pants are lined, so a little thicker. She didn't get the tee underneath, but I'd probably just use a plain white onsie or side-snap tee.
And then obviously the baby will get bundled in the car seat for our long ride home, around the block 
 OUTFIT

I'm in love with the little booties, but I have a feeling they'll be huge on a newborn. The tag says 0-6 months.

It's super cute!!!
I just bought our daughter a coming home outfit that's similar. I'm probably going to have her wear the whole outfit plus a jacket over it. I might bring a second option that has booties built in just in case she's really tiny.

I actually bought this outfit (pants, onsie, hat, blanket and socks) ...
Its sooo cute!!!!!! Its great for a take home outfit.. Fortunately for us we using the same take home outfit I got my nephew when he was born!  But I will definitely make use if the Childrens Place outfit.
