Ok i have this friend that is the type ( im sure you all know one like this..."im not calling her b/c i called her last" and loves attention and so on and so on.

Well anyway yesterday was my 1 yr annioversary and no phone call no card nthing.now i spoke to her friday and she didnt even mention it. Now normally i am not pety at all and dont think i have to be called and sent cards for my annoiversay but heres the thing... last august on her 1st anniveray she compained to me that her other friend( a mutual friend of ours) didnt call her for her anniversary or anyting.. now she goes and does the same thing to me. now her annoversary( 2nd) is the end of the summer do i call her or what?

I am goign to se her monday so i want to see if she metnions it.

Please dont think i am being childish i normally dont care but when you have someone who has to be called or gets mad at you party of me wants to be childlike.

I would call - to show her you are the better person. Maybe in the phone call make a joke out of it saying that even though you didn't call me to wish me a happy anniversary - I figured I would call you anyway.

yeah i guess i could.. i mean ill se eher monday so if it come s up and she seems genuinely sorry that she forgot ok but i mean its teh point that evenb if some oe genuinely forgot her birthday or anniversary it would be a big deal ya know.

i would definately call her... but im somewhat sympathetic only b/c i am the Absolute Worst at remembering to call people (even for birthdays, let alone anniversaries). I mean, its definately different b/c she's verbalized how it bothered her, but i've definately been a little let down that people didnt call me (like on my bday & stuff), but then still forgot to call them when the time came around- and it was purely accidental, not a 'get even' type of thing

I would call her and show her your the better (bigger) person..

However I am always the "bigger" person...and thats why people always take advantage..

Call me childish if ya like,... but I firmly believe in the "do onto others what you'd like to be done onto you". She didn't call you, so she doesn't want to be called either, IMO. HOWEVER, "do onto others what you'd like to be done onto you".... if you want to be called, then you should call, too.

What I would do is, call her remind her that I remembered hers, and she hadn't remembered mine. Like Erod mentioned... GUILT TRIP & a ½!
