While there is no true substitute for our Fertility Enhancing Retreats, we know that it is not possible for everyone to attend. Therefore we offer the Fertility Advisor's Phone Consulting Service conducted by Heather Smith, B.S. (Health Science), Lic. Ac., NCCAOM Diplomat. Heather is a graduate of the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Houston, TX where she earned her Masters degree. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist who has worked with Dr. Lewis for three years, and has treated patients at Fertility Enhancing Retreat along with Dr. Lewis. Details on the program are as follows:

The initial cost is $650 total.
Diagnostic Evaluation: $150
Series of 4 phone calls: $500
(one hour for first call, half hour for three subsequent calls)

You will fill out paperwork to send and after your initial conversation, Heather will be able to provide an herbal prescription for your specific needs and will be able to modify the formula as your symptoms change. Costs of the herbs vary with prices beginning at $75. Herbs will be charged to the credit card you registered with unless you specify otherwise.

Renewal: $500 for 4 additional calls.

The four phone calls can be scheduled at various intervals, but the series of calls must be completed within four months after the initial consult. Calls not completed within four months will be forfeited and additional consults will require renewal.

I read Lewis' book and there is a whole list of questions she asks her patients at her initial consultation. From the responses, she decides what the beginning treatment will be. Once she starts treating you, she may modify the treatment.

They probably go over the questionnaire and your BBT chart (if you're charting) on the phone to prescribe the herbs.

Hmmmm I don't know Donna..... I would think they need to SEE you and your tongue and feel your pulse, etc. to make any kinds of recommendations.... I mean the whole idea is to treat your body as one organism and yet with this they never even see you. This seems kind of strange to me.

I have a great acupuncturist who works with herbs, in Oyster Bay. She is really good, specializes in IF, and reasonably priced. A lot of her patients go to Cornell, SIRM, NYU, etc. and have gotten BFPs. Maybe you would like to have a consult with her, just to see? I can give you her info if you like.
