What do you use to babyproof your glass fireplace doors?
Now that DS is mobile he keeps heading straight for the fireplace and he pulls he glass doors open. He can easily get his fingers pinched. I've seen these protectors on some websites but would rather buy from a store....
has anyone used this? Any good? Can I get it at a real store?
or is there something else simpler I could use?
Maybe I could just use this since there are 2 handles at the bottom of the glass doors...?
TIA

We don't have anything. We just taught DD that it's hot and she stays away from it.

I use my coffee table. DS is 2 and the table is still in front of it. If we use the fireplace it's at night and when DS is sleeping.

We have one of those white "locks" (your second picture)...we only use it when she's asleep or on special occasions, so she doesn't go near it when its hot, but she was starting to touch the doors and slam them, so I figured it was easier to keep them closed than have her hurt herself or make a huge mess with the ashes.
