DD is a year old and we use very small ponytail holders (you know...the elastic coated colored bands) they make them in a tiny size about 1/4 of the size we'd use.

Now if only my DD would stay still for me to put it in...

Goody sells a smaller variety of the standard "elastic" bands. They have them with the metal connector and the "ouchless" variety. The "ouchless" ones S U C K!!! They pop apart when you are putting them in a lot. (I use the clear "vinyl" type ones in my hair) They are available at Target obviously!

I get the goody ones that are like rubber bands but are elastic. Probably the ones that snuggleupagus says that suck. But, they are the only ones my girls can't take off. The rip out any other ones in seconds.

do you mean the ones that are super tiny and thin (they remind me of the rubber bands for braces)? or the ones like standard ponytail holders that are fused together instead of that metal band? the ones that are fused together can pop apart easily. (just to clarify) the ones that remind me of rubber bands for braces don't and stay in place well...those are the ones i use for my hair.Chat Icon

Ouch-less rubber bands, the small ones. They sell them at CVS.

These are the ones thats we use for ponys and they stay in pretty well. I had to try a few different brands to see what worked best in her hair. The cheap brand ones never seem to work out, they dont have a strong enough elastic
