I agree.
Or cute capris.
I'd stay away from heels, unless they were wedges. It's not easy, nor practical, to walk on a lawn with heels!
Also, bring a light sweater in case the party goes into the evening. I usually get chilly once the sun goes down.

i say capri pants w/ a halter or a denim skirt. stick w/ flip flops or wedges.
