What do your toddlers wear outside playing?

My DD is 13 mths and this past weekend when the weather was so nice she was outside a lot...problem is she used up so many outfits...I would put in something in the morning...out she would go..fall in some mud..change, nap..outside again, falliing again...change to go into town....you get the picture...my laundry basket is full....

Anyone have any cute coverall recommendations? She did have a snowsuit from lands end but that will be getting too warm now and its a little bulky to play in.

I LOVE that she is outside playing but not so happy about all the extra laundry..

Of course if Dh was in charge she would just be wearing the same muddy pants all dayChat Icon

TIA

Michael wears jeans, sneakers and a jacket, but he's also 2 and a lot more sturdy on his feet than your daughter is.

What about those parachute pants, I know they must have them in pinks and girly colors! Michael has a few pairs and the mud/dirt doesn't get embedded as much as it would on cotton pants... I hope that makes sense, lol... ETA - I mean that they are easier to wipe off...

Re: What do your toddlers wear outside playing?

we've been wearing bodysuits or shirts with pants...usually something that is already stained since she'll still walk on her knees or crawl. I don't mind since A: it's already stained, B: we got it for free C: getting dirty is part of being a kid.

Plus I have enough clothes to last 2 weeks if I needed
