what does 25.5 mean in blood test????
the result came back and the lady at the dr room said its 25.5 and i dont know what that mean???

it all depends on what blood test you went for. what CD are you on??
if you went for a blood test to check your progesterone level, then a 25.5 indicates that you did indeed ovulate, and that number is great. On an unmedicated cycle (meaning no fertility drugs), the doctors like to see a number over 10 to indicate ovulation.
if this blood test was for a beta, then 25.5 indicates that you are pregnant and your doctor should bring you in 2 days later to rerun the test to see if your HCG level is doubling.

The Lady from the dr rooms just said there were a egg and the number is 25.5 I must know wait to see if I menterate or not

If you ovulated a week ago, that could be your progesterone level. If so, it's really high and that's a good sign for pregnancy! You would test for pregnancy next week.
If you think ovulation is today or tomorrow, that could be your LH hormone. Anything over 20 means you're going to ovulate very soon. Your pregnancy test would be in 2 weeks.

hcg of 5+ = pregnant, I am surprised your doctor didnt tell you that! Are they going to do a second blood draw? they usually do them 48 hours apart

Yeah that is weird if they took your HCG level and it was 25 and didn't say you were pregnant, I would take a HPT just to confirm.

I think to take a HPT is still to early acording to the sonar when I was at the dr its said "if I'm pregnant" it its 1 week and I don't think HPT will pick it up that early???

If your hcg came back 25 it is not too early to test positive.
You would test positive now.

She just called you at 4am? Are you in NY? If its progesterone then you aren't necessarily pregnant but might be. But if it is hcg then you are. I would test in the morning. But in all honesty this is extremely confusing.
