What does general admission to Atlantis Aquarium in Riverhead get you?
Do you have to pay extra for anything like feedings or exhibits?

It gets you access to the inside and outside, the butterfly exhibit and feeding the stingrays are extra.
If it's not a nice day out, do not go, the inside is way too small for the price to make it worthwhile.

Also, they charge for parking. If you go one block past their parking lot, or a few blocks before the aquarium, you can park on the streets. Just read the signs carefully. And pack a lunch. The food is expensive.

We paid $14.50 per person with the school. They didn't charge for parking. Which was great. Not sure why. I took Giuliana last year and it cost $70-80 for two admissions for the aquarium, two admissions for the butterfly exhibit, parking and one ice cream.

You're not really allowed to park on the side streets they put up no parking signs May-Sept. There are several large municipal parking lots right off Main Street a that are an easier and safer walk, and free!

there is street parking and parking behind the florist there. Like OP said dont go if its bad weather b/c the inside is not that big. If I didn't have my season pass I would NOT go. I'm a local so we go a lot esp in summer. The outside is where my kids like it the most. Eat before going or pack lunch you can eat outside or go to Subway down the road. The river is right there too so you can have lunch there also or feed ducks. When we do we only spend about 1-1 1/2 hrs there.
