what does " party attire" mean?
My Dh xmas party is at the east wind. The invite says party attire. What would be appropriate? cocktail dress? evening gown? I dont know any of the women going to ak them : and these are a bunch of blue collar men

I would guess somewhere along the lines of "festive attire" meaning have some sparkle or shine....it will probably range from black pants and a dressy top to a cocktail dress and everything in between....that's my guess at least!

I agree. I would personally wear a cocktail dress.

LOL ive been wondering what that means too. dh says 'party dress' at some schoomzy club in the city. I am so out of the loop.
so i took the liberty of looking it up and found some nice examples on this site... I will pro'ly go to estelles and browse....
