What evnironmentally-sound and child-safe clean products do you use to clean....
. . . hardwood floors (so they aren't super slippery)?
. . . slate tile bathroom floor?
. . . other bathroom areas (sink, tub, toilet)?
We're moving and I plan on cleaning the apartment today or tomorrow and want to "make the change" to more "Green" cleaning products. Thanks!

Hi Jill!
You can use vinegar and water to clean the hardwood floors and they will be squeaky clean and not slippery. For the bathroom I've had luck with Seventh Generation products.
Good luck on your move!

Hardwood floors...
Mix 1 part vinegar to three parts water in a spray bottle. Vacuum floor and spray vinegar mixture on the mophead of a microfiber mop until damp, NOT directly on the floor... wood + standing water= VERY bad... then mop. The mop should just be damp enough that no water is left on the floor.
Bathroom...
You can use Baking soda to scour
Vinegar to disinfect
