What formula do you feed your DC?
As you may have seen from some of my other posts I am considering giving DS formula for a period of time. I have done no research on this so I am looking for some insight - what formula do you use And why did you select this formula? TIA

I chose Enfamil Lipil, mostly because I received so many free samples of it before my DD was born. She does great on it. Wouldn't change

I use Similac Advance - it is what they gave the babies at the hospital. I thinkn most new parents use whatever the hospital uses.

I also use silmilac advanced however I did use emfimil when it was given to me. My ped said it was fine to switch back and forth with the two.

I use the Target brand formula, which is the same thing as Enfamil Lipil with Iron. We used the name brand with DS, had no problems, and now DD is on the Target formula, and seems to be doing great! Plus, the Target formula is half the price of Enfamil.

When I weaned her, I started with Similac Advance powder since the powder looks closest to what BM looks like.
My doc said enfamil and similac are like coke and pepsi, they've been around for so long it's just preference and price.
Def give a formula with iron though

I started on Enfamil Lipil. Then we switched to Nutramigen.
Now she is on Similac Isomil (soy) and we are slowly weaning her to Similac Advance because she has outgrown her milk allergy.

She was on Similac Advanced until about a week ago. Now, she's on Target Generic for Similac/Enfamil. And doing great!

We started with Similac Advance, but it was a little too thick for him and he was spitting up alot. Pediatrician switched him to Nestle Good Start, which he has been on since.

Same here, we use the Gentlease Target brand.

Enfamil Lipil
BF'd for 4 months then weened to formula. Ped said either Similac Advance or Enfamil Lipil. I used Enfamil because I had more samples and I knew a few people who used it.

Hospital gave us Enfamily with Iron. I then tried the similac advance with iron (I like Similac's packaging better). DS had issues so now he is on Similac Sensitive (lactose free).
