what games did you have or going to have at your shower?

my mom is asking me and the only 2 I know of are the bingo and the measurement game. any others? thanks

Im doing these for my sisters shower...might help.

I found a name word search online..popular names for boy/girls. You can time them and who finishes it 1st get a prize. The other is a baby word scramble I also got online.

ETA: My friend suggested this one: Get Fabric markers, a pack for each table, and get onesies (all sizes) and have your guests draw on the onesies. Then when they are done they can attach them to a clothesline and show their work and the onesies are yours to keep.

We only did the measuring one and guess how many jelly beans were in a baby bottle.

I saw a cute one that was name that animal baby. Like a momma seal is a cow, what's a baby seal? A calf. I don't remember all the real names but there was momma duck and gosling and mare and foal (I think those are right ).

we didn't have any, but at two of my friends' showers they did one where they had brown paper lunch-sized bags and each bag had a letter on it. I think they spelled out baby shower. The guests had to guess what was in each bag (it had something beginning with the letter on the outside - ie: "B" had a bottle in it, etc.) The ones who guessed right got a prize. They announced what was in each bag intermittently while the mom-to-be was opening gifts, which was nice because she got a little break and it broke it up a little bit.

I went to a shower where there were questions about the mom and dad when they were babies.

stuff like:

whose favorite food at 4 months was mashed peas? (or something like that) and you'd chose between the mom or the dad.

I was shown a newborn photo and incorrectly said it was a photo of the mom - it was of the dad!

it was a cute game that the grandmas organized.

One cute game they did at mine was that everyone got a necklace -- made of curling ribbon and had either a pink or blue mini plastic pacifier on it. Each time someone said the word, "baby" they had to turn over all of their necklaces. The person with the most necklaces around their neck at the end won a gift bag.
