What gym do you belong to???
I am on the quest for finding a gym, but there are a couple things I NEED!
#1 (MOST IMPORTANT) Childcare for DS who is almost 9 mos (he will be 9 mos next week)
#2 Reasonably close to home (Live in Ozone Park, Queens)
#3 Off Street, Free Parking
#4 Reasonable cost and personal trainer.
I cannot do Bally's as they have a Children's Play Room, but the minimum age is 2 yrs old.
Nothing on Austin St, b/c parking is a b*tch!
TIA!!

Re: What gym do you belong to???
I was a member at NYSC - New York Sports Clubs - in Manhattan, and it was nice and low key. (I've also been a member at Equinox in Manhattan, it was fine, but upscale, and had good personal trainers.) NYSC had babysitting. No personal experience there, but I noticed the babysitters seemed nice to the kids. NYSC
At both places, I was able to get a free trial day.

Re: What gym do you belong to???
I used to go to the World Gym on Woodhaven...very resasonably priced.
ETS: don't know about the child care or trainer, though. I've also gone to Gold's on QB and 58th Street, then NYSC (there's one in Glendale, but that may be a little far for you). Now I got to New York Health and Racquet Club.
