What happens at the first OBGYN appt???
I just got a BFP this weekend. I will only be about 3 weeks pregnant when I go on the appointment this Thursday.
I mostly just want confirmation that I'm pregnant.
What else do they do???

I had a blood test and urine sample to confirm the BFP.

All they did was take urine, blood, blood pressure and weight and go over the "do's and dont's"

They may also do a sonogram, but its probably too early to see anything at this point so don't be alarmed.

I went last Wednesday and I too am very early. They did a urine test, blood, and took a swab for GT clamydia . (spelling?) They didn't go over the do's and dont's just yet. I go back again this Wed.

At my first appointment, they confirmed the pregnancy and did a sonogram. Then my doctor went over everything I could expect during my first trimester.
