What happens when you forget to certify your unemployment claim benefits?
The question was asked if I didn't certify because of a job and I replied no. When I look at the view history of claims I don't see it posted. Do I call them or because of forgetfulness they will not submit the claim? Anyone know?

I'm pretty sure if you don't claim a week you lose it.

I think this is correct. I was told you can send a letter explaining why you didn't do it, but I think you have to have a really good reason for not having done it
