What happens when you "see stars"?
I just walked out of the bathroom at work and I started "seeing stars" - little flickers of light dancing around - what causes that???

I got that once when I didn't eat breakfast and went to track practice and was doing sprints. I had to sit down b/c I was seeing stars and my coach said it was b/c I didn't eat breakfast before running.
Did you eat today yet?

were you.. um. sitting for a long time, and then got up fast??
or walked from bright lights to less light? (or vise versa)

I was actually turning my head around to look at my butt in the mirror!! haha I went online and ther was a website that said when you see stars, you interrupt blood flow temporaily to your brain - so maybe when I twisted my head around, i did that...?
And no - I haven't really eaten today -

I agree with everyone. I saw stars (like sparks of light  ) the other day when I stood up. Hasn't happened in a while. I realized I hadn't eaten lunch that day.

i just asked my DH that last night. I got it the other day when I made a sudden head movement. It could be low sugar, or blood flow change.
