depends on your DPO but i think its anything over 25. dont quote me on that though!! my first was 46 and it ended in a chemical. i know the # doesnt matter that much - what matters is that it doubles every day or two. its how much it increases that matters. good luck!!

i don't know i think it depends how many DPO you are...i only know my number for the second beta which was 14 dpiui and it was 172...the dr said it more than doubled from 12 dpiui...so i guess at 12 it was somewhere around 80?

hope that helpsChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: what is a good first beta test number?

Like the others have said.. as long as it doubles, that's what's important!

At 12dpo mine was 102 and at 14dpo it was 226, I believe.......

As long as it at least doubles is what's most important! Chat Icon GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Mine were relatively low for my successful pregnancies. I think with Abby my first was in the 40s but with Zippy it was 80 something.

IDK if there is a specific # that is considered "good" or not. It's the doubling time.

My beta at 14dpo was 69 and 14 dpo was 234.

Good Luck !!!

Re: what is a good first beta test number?

My RE wants to see the first beta between 50-100.

It doesn't have to double, but should rise by 60%

Also, my RE doesn't do betas before 14dpo
