what is a reasonable amount of time....?
Until I go to the doctor. Last 2 cycles were 39 and 31 days... Now I am on day 31 and have not even ovulated yet... How many days should I go on this cycle before going to the doctor? 45? 50?
I swear I got an surge on Answer OPK last week- lines looked similar- but both were pretty light (as opposed to first response used last cycle that were both dark)....
The other thing is my waking temp is VERY flat- 97.3 EVERY MORNING- which is pretty weird.. maybe I need a new thermometer?

I would wait 45 Your cycles could still be off from coming off the pill - I know for me, it took about 6 months.

Sorry I've been working, just got a chance to get back on the boards
I agree with Marcie, it seems like you're longest so far has been 39 days so I would at least wait until I hit that day.

Maybe you could just call the doctor and see what he/she thinks... Sorry I don't have better advice. I'm still new to this too.

Re: what is a reasonable amount of time....?
I'm a bit of an early reactor to any issue with my health, so I probably would call now and tell them what's going on to see if they want you to come in.
Most offices these days seem to take a couple of weeks before you can even see them anyway, so it couldn't hurt to call and set up an appointment.

Re: what is a reasonable amount of time....?
What type of thermometer are you using ? For how many days has your waking temp been exactly 97.3 ? If it's 97.3 for close to a week, I would say, you need a new thermometer. :) Usually temps vary a little. :)
