what is an edger?

people were talking about this at work, and how it makes their lawn look so much better... but i'm clueless???

An edger cleans up the edges of the lawn. It separates the grass from the edge of the walkway or where the grass meets the concrete/patio/whatever paved area that you have.

Does that make sense? lol

It makes a huge difference, for very little cost.

Also, many string weed trimmers can pivot the head so you can edge the grass as well. I'll often use the weed wacker to get most of the grass, then clean up the edges with the rotary edger.
