I don't know what is better, but I prefer Matte. I hate when people put their fingers all over a picture and you are left with fingerprints. Honestly, Linen, I only used for my wedding thank you.

I'm guessing you are planning announcements, so I would choose Linen, then Matte, never Glossy.

I'd go with linen, personally, but matte would be ok. never glossy.

its really depends on what type of look you are going for...different types of papers do different things to colors, reflections, etc...

its the same for paint..there are different finishes..all are useful in one way or another.

is the picture being but in a frame?
if so, glossy, if not matte

Depends on the photo.

Some places offer glossy that has a UV coating on it which is resistant to fingerprints which is nice.

I would do matte. Also, I would find out if it is matte cardstock or matte photo paper (it doesn't look the same). You will get a crisper picture on matte photo paper. If you decide to take out the pictures then I would do linen.

I like Linen personally!

If you are asking for your announcements, I would definitely stick with Matte or Linen!
