what is everyone do for the 4th of July weekend
i can't believe its already the fourth of July! it seems like just yesterday was Memorial Day.
not much going here. DH is working on Sunday. trying to get some ideas for a day trip on Saturday or something fun to do at night.
anyone just staying local? i know they are having fireworks Saturday night at Eisenhower park. i'm sure it won't hold a candle to the Jones Beach fireworks. Can't believe they cancelled it  oh well, if it means saving some jobs.....

Friday DH and I are off all day, so Wahoo!
Saturday we have an engagement party to go to.
Sunday Dh works and my family is away for a week so I am not sure

We go to our friends mothers house out East every year. She has a huge backyard with in-ground pool and hot tub and we have a big BBQ--we literally pig out ALL DAY--and at night our friend's brother puts on a big fireworks show (he goes out of state and buys a whole closet full of fireworks every year). It's always a great time and DH and I look forward to it every summer. In fact, I am 90% sure DS was conceived that night last year

Friday night we will go to a bar in Hampton Bays that we can see fireworks from. Not sure about Saturday or Sunday. I am dogsitting my parents dog from Maryland for 2 weeks and I'm nervous how she'll do alone if a lot of people start setting off fireworks.
