What is so great about Denny's clothing store?
I went there today on my lunch break and was totally not impressed with them. They are SO overpriced. I can do better at Marshall's for Ralph Lauren.

a place that has really nice fashionable baby clothes is daffys in smithtown. Dennys is too much rack looking for me. All the name brands are at daffys as well. check it out. I was there yesterday.

I live right across the street from Denny's however I tend to think they are better for girls clothes than for boys clothes. Boys clothes you can get anywhere else cheaper except for the boutique name brands...
The only time I go in there is when they have their crazy sale ( it happened a couple of weeks ago) where they have things for 75% off... So when there is a J&M original shirt ( boutique brand name) that goes for $32 (which I think is ridiculous) and I get it for $7 then it is worth it to me... I have bought for next year so I am all set.
I also go in there when I need a gift...
other than that, I don't go in there that much.
If I have a girl though, it would probably be a different story but I would buy more on the sales.

My MIL and mom spent $250 on my DD's going home outfit (from Denny's in Commack) ! She wore it only one time! It was beautiful though!

I went there for my couisn & she was like "oooh be careful your going to want to buy everything" It looks like a cheap store (at least the one in Little Neck does.) It had no boutique look to it except fpr the prices. I refuse to spend a fortune on clothes that will last a few months!

I agree, I live by the one in commack, and it does look like a "Cheap store".
WAYYYYY overpriced. I went in there once and was totally not impressed.
Ive worked on the buying end of retail, I KNOWW markups, so I will NEVER pay top retail for something.
I cant get into that "paid more so its a better item" mindset, i know too well the truth behind the scenes.
these guys are  when they buy something for $30 and sell it for $175  I saw my bosses do it all too often.

I agree that Denny's is not all that. I think it's more of a name thing to say you bought clothes at Dennys. I live 2 minutes from the Plainview store and stop in once in a while to check it out but usually walk out wondering what the big deal is.
However, I do confess I fell into the "Denny's trap" a few times and spent ridicilious amounts of $ on (IMO) cheap clothes that didnt' wash or wear very well. It's just you go there and people are buying this stuff like crazy so you give it a try. I usually end up seeing most of the items in other stores for less $$. People say to wait for the sales but I find that there is really nothing left that I would want for DD.

I do like Denny's but I do agree it is over priced. I try not to go in there because then I will spend too much money for Sara's clothes . I am content in getting things for her in Kohls and Babies R us. Maybe if I had ALOT of money and money wasnt an issure I would shop at Dennys more

Working for them, I learned MOST of my negotiating and haggling skills,and refusal to pay retail
Ive gotten Tommy Hilfiger & Ralph LAuren jeans for my boys at Macys for $4, yep $4. I didnt care about the brand, but the price was wonderful 
Just to think the "retail" tag said $35 each, what a joke

I went into the one that recently opened by me and walked out pretty much (bellmore). I only looked quickly thru the boys clothes- I couldn't fit in the aisles with a stroller first of all. Second - everything looked so cheapy but it wasn't. I didn't even see anything I liked. I guess it was designer labels but the clothes in the one by me didn't look like it. The only thing I saw that was nice was RL Polos.
