What is teh jacket called form LL bean that is really really thin but very warm?
Someone posted about them a while back I want to get them for the kids

The squall jacket and the parka (the parka is longer and covers their bottom better) - DD has both. They are great!

The Squal is Lands' End, not LL Bean (I don't think at least; DS has a Squal from Lands' End).

DS has the Katahdin parka from LL Bean and I have got this for him every year for the last 2 yrs as well. It is very warm and not as bulky as many winter coats. Not sure if that is what you are looking for...

yes it is Lands end - sorry that is what I meant not LL Bean. I have no idea what coats they have - the Lands End was recommended for the car seat.

Check out the Squal ones--they have two styles (one longer, one shorter), and were on great sales before the holidays! If it doesn't fit (they run small--I had to return) you can return to the Lands' End store in Sears at the mall. (i don't think they carry them in the store near me though)

Just a note to this one - with Lands End you have a lifetime warranty. So if you it gets shabby after wearing it, if you intend to use it for another child, you can return it for a new one.
