What is the best fruit to start with?

DS is going to be starting fruits soon and I was wondering which is the best one to start with?

I've heard to start with applesauce. Now would I put it in their cereal or give it to them separately. What time of day do I give the cereal to him?

Need some ideas and suggestions...

TIA

Bananas, applesauce, pears, peaches, they are all ok. I mixed it in their ceral in the morning. I gave a veggie in their cereal at night.

If he is a gassy baby I wouldn't start with apples. I would do pears, peaches or bananas. DS would get gas with apples in the beginning. I slowly increased how much I gave him and now he is fine so I would hold off on that, I would say once he has had all the other fruits then incorporate the apples.

I started with the fruit with the least amount of sugar in it. I think it was peaches or pears. I gave it to DS separately from his cereal but at the same feeding.

Us too...veggies first. I think we did applesauce first of the fruits though.

We started with veggies first too, then fruits. We started with the green veggies.

How much fruit do I give at first. He is currently taking 2 tbsp of cereal (2 in the morning 2 at night). He was going on 3 but he started getting gas again so I'm back on 2 right now.
