What is the cause of??

The frequent urination during the first few weeks of pregnancy? I'm 6 weeks and am in the bathroom about every hour or so. Maybe its all the water I've been drinking. At the end of your PG, I could see why, the baby is sitting on the bladder - but why now?

Why do I have to go to the bathroom so often?
You may start to notice a more frequent urge to pee soon after you discover you're pregnant. In fact, it's one of the most common early signs of pregnancy, starting about six weeks into your first trimester. Why do you suddenly need to go all the time? It's mostly because the amount of blood in your body increases dramatically when you get pregnant, which leads to a lot of extra fluid getting processed through your kidneys and ending up in your bladder. For me I think it was a combination of all the water I was drinking and also the baby (and sac) are so low, they are pressing on the bladder. In the 2nd trimester your uterus will go up higher and it will be a little better. But look out, once you hit your 3rd trimester ...it's baaaaack! With a vegnance!! I can go to the bathroom 2-3 times and hour now, easily!

I just figured it was the changing hormones.

I always to go to the bathroom all the time. Even before I got PG...

Me too. I'm always in the bathroom. The worst part now is that I get up 3-4 times a night to pee!
