What is the latest news about Motrin, Zyrtec, Benadryl & Tylenol?
I see it on the shelves in stores now but I didn't want to assume that if it's for sale it is not part of the recall. I did not have a list of lot numbers with me. I could not find a store brand of Benadryl, so I bought something that is the equivalent of Claritin. We are supposed to use Benadryl or the equivalent. We had a bottle of Benadryl that was part of the recall.

I am still super confused about this whole issue... I found some link on line where I typed it my Motrin lot number and it told me that that one was not recalled but my friend claims that EVERYTHING was recalled and I shouldn't use it...

I heard that everything was recalled and one article explained that the included lot numbers were all unexpired bottles but I got the idea that some of the flavors and variations might not have been included. I checked the bottles I had against lot numbers anyway. I had Motrin, Tylenol and Benadryl that were all on the recall list. The bottles are all still sitting on my desk but I won't use them. Now I just saw a place where I can sign up for a refund.
I didn't expect to see any of these products on the shelves at the store. I was looking for some sort of generic and I found generics of everything except Benadryl, which is what I need tonight b/c my son is having an allergic reaction   .

The only things i've seen on the shelves is the children's tylenol, etc. the chewable ones or the meltaways...other than that every store i've been to has empty shelves.
When i got my refund from mccall, the letter they sent said that they would not be making anymore until they found the source of the contamination. When in doubt, bring whatever bottle up to the pharmacy counter and they've always been realy helpful.

my CVS was wiped out of everything. i found one ibruprofen left.
I asked the pharmacy and they had some different brands behind the counter. Not Tylenol but, not CVS brand.

Thanks. DS seems to be doing okay with the Claritin substitute that we found, plus I am sure that his reaction is just wearing off on its own anyway. I hope I find a good Benadryl substitute to keep in the house for times like this.
