What is the max a teacher can make tutoring at homes (realistically)?
What is the max a teacher can make a week tutoring, realistically?
And how much per hour might you get paid? How many hours does a session typically run?

Each session is usually an hour.
I know people make up to $75 for math tutoring. I guess it depends on subject/age.
I don't know the max you can make. Depends on how many students you can take in.

Depends upon the subject area, grade level, and geographic area.
In my experience, AP and SAT tutors make the most.
DH has a friend, English teacher, brilliant guy who gets $125. a hour for SAT tutoring
The average is probably about $75... secondary level, math, science, foreign language, SAT/AP tutoring probably getting the most.

Depends on so many factors!! I was tutoring in my current district a few years ago and I was charging $75 an hour. Other teachers told me I should be charging at least $100 an hour. But I know that's on the high end of the spectrum.

elementary is $65/hour minimum. i've seen more than that but that's what i charge.
the max depends on how many kids you get per week.

It really depends where you work. I work in a very affluent community on the north shore and earn $125 per hour +++ (some teachers charge more.) When I worked in a lesser-income area (not low income, but middle class) I made $85. In the low income area, I was lucky to see $30. I think it all depends.
ETA: this was for basic elementary grade level tutoring. MS and HS teachers in my area make $150 and up per hour. (Again, very affluent area, so parents are able and willing to pay!)
