what is this called?
I am sure this is crochet(cheater way) but it was a plastic guide you wrap yarn around and it popped off a flower like thing and you then made another one and connected it and made a blanket my mom had one in the early 80s do they still make them?
ETA i think I found it a bloom loom????
do they sell this in ac moore or michaels?

I don't know what it's called but I remember them!! I am pretty sure that AC Moore and Michaels and maybe even JoAnn's sell it

it is a bloom loom. and i do think that michaels and ac moore carry them.
btw: it's not cheating if you did the work, no matter how you got there 
can't wait to see what you make with it
