I have facebook, and I keep seeing people linking facebook and Twitter. So what is Twitter?

its for status updates like the ones on facebook. you get your own page just to tell people what your doing.

People follow you on Twitter. They get these updates called Tweets if they are following your status.

I know, that's what I mean. I'm sure no one really cares about my Facebook status updates, I couldn't imagine them getting an e-mail every time I changed it! I'm just not that interesting.
