My son is also a Board Game Jumkie. Loves any board or card games. His faves of late are:
Sorry
Sorry Sliders
Money Bags
Stratego
Monopoly Jr
All thos lego type games like Heroica (which I can't stand since they take os long to set up)
Clue Jr
Silly Sentences
Qurikle (just got this and I love it too)
THere are so many but these are just a few lately faves that I can think of off the top of my head
