What is your cleaning schedule?
Do you have one? I feel like I am constantly cleaning. I am a clean freak I know and need to cut it down. I am always trying to keep up and just constantly clean. It's getting ridiculous..
I would love to know how everyone balances it out. Do you have 1 cleaning day and then touch up all week? My ttouch ups are resulting in full rip-everything apart cleaning sessions. It never ends... lol.

I only have a few things I do on a regular basis. Monday night I clean my fridge, throw out anything old and clean the shelves (garbage & recycle p/c is Tue AM here) Tue I get my Peapod order in for delivery on Wed. That's it... I'd love to have a better schedule.
Oh yes and I do lots and lots of laundry (3 small kids)

I straighten whenever the house needs it. I try to do laundry every other day. and on saturday mornings i do a really thorough cleaning in every room. But i don't have kids so the cleaning tends to be light!

I am always cleaning daily just to keep up with it, but I have a cleaning crew come in every 2-weeks and really go to town on the house.

i feel the same way! i tend to straighten up as a go along... when i leave a room, i always take something with me to put away ( the cereal bowl from this morning, the magazine i finished reading...)
as far as cleaning, i try to do one thing everyday so that i don't feel like i spend a whole day just cleaning. so like one day after work i'll spend a half hour dusting, one day i do the bathrooms, one day i'll do the floors, one day the kitchen. i find that by breaking it up into like 1/2 hour "jobs" it makes it seem more manageable

Sunday: DH's laundry, iron, clean kitchen, clean bathroom, wash dishes
Monday: Towels and sheets, iron, swiffer floors, wash dishes
Tuesday: DD's laundry, wash dishes
Wednesday: My laundry, dust, wash dises
Thursday, Friday and Saturday I just staighten up if I have nothing to iron.
And yet somehow, I still feel like my house is a mess!

I clean the kitchen and the bathrooms once a week thoroughly.
I straighten/vacuum when it needs it.
For dusting/cleaning hw floors - I will do the upstairs one week and the downstairs the next. I try to get it done after work so I will have my weekend free - especially now that there's yardwork in the mix too!!!

Clean the kitchen counters daily
Vacumn the stairs weekly
Bedroom, dining room, kitchen floors - weekly
bathrooms- weekly... showers - whenever
den where we sit every night- use roomba daily

It used to be once a week clean the whole house. Now that I am home full time and we just got a puppy, it is an hour a day (in the morning) and the floors are swept and mopped everyday. Basically it works out to a room or 2 a day.

I feel like DH is more like a DC with how messy he is . I pretty much have to straighten up everyday and vacuum everyday too.
We do have a couple that comes and cleans 1-2 a month- but they do all the real nitty gritty stuff.

A little everyday, but Saturday mornings are my time to clean everything up. I truly enjoy the time.. it's my time. Plus...I love a clean house.

I laughed when I read this because I was thinking, no, not really. Though I've fallen into one of sorts. It goes kind of like this:
Monday: Laundry/Change Sheets
Tuesday: More laundry, dust bedrooms, clean bedroom floors
Wednesday: Clean bathrooms and maybe kitchen floor
Thursday: Clean kitchen floor
Friday: Clean living room/dining room
Yardwork gets done any day I have some time while DC is napping--there is never enoguh time to do it on the weekend.
Some things really slide though.

Cleaning Lady comes every Friday. I do laundry everyday. Dishwasher everyday. Sheets done on the weekends.
