For DS I LOVE airwalks from payless. They last really long, fit him great and have the cutest styles.
For DD I dont have a favorite brand. She has very narrow, long feet, so its whatever we can find that fits her. I have also gotten her tons of sneakers from payless as well, and the champion brand ones are usually good.

DS wore Geox brand all summer and they were great quality and lasted all summer and still look brand new- I will def buy them again. I also like Stride Rite - DS's old sneakers after months of wearing were still in good shape and fit him comfy. DS is now wearing a pair of brand new New Balance sneakers. It is only day 2 and so far so good. They are grey suede so I am not sure how long they will last.

i got him a cheap pair for play and i dont even know the name of them.

I don't discriminate-if the are below $10 and wide enough, I buy them. We have a ton from Target and Walmart.
I used to buy only Striderite, but now that she is a really good walker/runner I switched to the cheaper ones so I can buy more.
I also buy from Gymboree, Chrildren's place, etc if the shoes coordinate with an outfit I am buying.

Jared only wears Stride Rite Superball Sneakers. He has a wide food and I've always had those sneakers hold up for a long time.

Clarks do the best kids shoes (I don't know if you get them in the US) their selection of styles and sizes/widths are fantastic.

I love Stride Rite shoes and sneakers. My son has wide feet so we don't have much choice. I got him a pair of awesome Geox once and his poor feet were getting so squished...

right now whatever I can find her that has good support and is skinny and small enough.
her first pair were stride rite and she is in a pair of sketchers right now that i am loving so easy to get on and off!

Stride Right here too, but DS has worn Nike Air (got them for $19.99 on clearance at Macy's) and Ecco (from the Stride Right outlet). I like the Stride Rights the best b/c DS has a wide foot with a high arch.

Jacob has been wearing Geox forever because of his wide foot. Love them but not the price.. His last pair was $75 but I got 6 months out of them..
His newestpair is from Nikeand they are running wider again.. So far nocomplaints..
For his dress shoes, I love the Sperry Topsiders I got from Stride rite outlet. They are great.
For Chloe-- She is not walking only a few steps asofnow but I will get her stride rite to start off..

Same here. When dd first stated walking our pediatrician told us that we should use them until they don't make them in their size anymore. DH is convinced he owns stock in the company.

My mom recently asked me if I've found them here because that's what she used to get my brother and I when we lived over there. So weird to hear about them twice in one week.

When DD was 1- 1 1/2 years old- she wore only stride rite and new balance b/c she wore wide.
Now she's normal width- she loves lelli kelly- just got her 3rd pair for this fall.
Also love new balance sneakers, the italian brand Primigi (real leather insoles) and for fashion shoes- can't beat those gap flats.
edited to add love the shoe dept at nordstroms - we go 2 times a year and even though it's pricey the service and their shoes are reat.

I like Stride Rite because I feel they are a good quality shoe for his growing little feet.
I did buy him a pair of Keen sandals this summer, which I liked a lot and seemed comfortable for him. Otherwise, everything I've bought is Stride Rite.
