What is your favorite Natural Dog Food?
In anticipation of adopting a doggie  I've been checking out the different brands of natural dog food. So far, I think I like either Merrick or Natural Balance. What's your favorite?

We used to feed Natural Balance but Diamond, who owns them, was a big player in the food recalls years ago where a lot of animals died. It never sat well with me so we searched for better fish-based food and found it in Evo Herring and Salmon.
It is extremely expensive though. With higher quality comes a higher pricetag, sadly.

Blue Buffallo has given me great success with a few of my dogs. it is currently what I feed my Dane, who needs a very specific nutritional breakdown in his food.

The woman we adopted our dog from had been feeding her Wellness brand Healthy Weight because she was overweight when they got her.
The vet said if it was working for her and we were okay with the price tag it was a great option to keep her on full time since labs are prone to weight gain which can negatively affect her hips.
Turns out she has empty tummy issues as well so she has to be fed twice a day and get snacks in between so this is a good option for that reason too.
She's happy with it!

I feed a combination of home made raw diet and a premium kibble called Nature's Variety Prairie. I use the venison and millet formula. It is $$$! (So is making the home made diet!)

We use Health Extension. It was one of the only all natural foods that all 3 dogs liked and my Big guy has colitis and it's the only food that keeps it from "acting up".

We feed Daisy "Grammy Pot Pie", which is mad eby Merrick and sold at Petland and other independent pet stores.
All other food, she had digestive issues with except this one and she loves it.
It has regular dog food mixed with dried peas, chicken, carrot and potato.

I make my dog homemade food and mix it with kibble.
I make the food with brown rice, carrots, ground turkey. It's inexpensive and very good for dogs!
