what is your favorite supermarket brand of ice cream
I have been buying Bryers for years for someone who is set in their ways and only wanted that brand but now is getting tired of it. Can anyone recommend a brand and flavor of ice cream that can be purchased in a supermarket. I am thinking I will try Friendlys. What do you like?

I love Ben & Jerry's, specifically:
Salted Caramel Core (this one is new!)
Cherry Garcia
Phish Food
Late Night Snack
Everything But The...
Imagine Whirled Peace
Peach Cobbler (hard to find!)
Also, Haagen Dazs:
Coffee
Sea Salt Caramel (I think that's what its called)
I'm not much of an ice cream person, which is why I like Ben and Jerry's and Haagen Dazs...smaller packaging, less chance for freezer burn and also, DH is a purist when it comes to ice cream. I love mine loaded with crunchy and chewy stuff, he prefers chocolate (Trader Joe's Ultra Chocolate, to be exact)

Stop and shop brand is really good. Moose tracks, the pb cup one, I think the make a cone caramel one, and it's usually the cheapest.
I also like Ben and Jerry's.
I always watch out for and read the containers. A lot say a dairy frozen treat which is not real ice cream. I only buy real ice cream and breyers has a lot of dairy treats

I always get Stop and Shop brand. They have lots of yummy flavors and are inexpensive.
I just picked up a container today with peanut butter cups in it for $2.39.

Whatever's on sale! I'm no sure I've found any I didn't like! Shoprite usually has something on sale for .99 every other week and I always get sucked in. This week I got Turkey Hill for free between the sale and a coupon. We love their slow churned (low fat) moose tracks. I grew up on breyers but now I usually buy friendly's or turkey hill. Usually moose tracks, mint chocolate chip, or cookie dough. Ben and Jerry's half baked is amazing too.

Love Talenti, Graeters, and Giffords. They have all of these at Fairway. Talenti is common I believe. Talenti Salted caramel is awesome. Giffords Blueberry is so creamy. And Graeters black rasperry and chocolate chip is awesome. Also, I also like Edys slow churned. And Friendlys is good too.
