What is your household income?
DH and i and some friends were talking this morning about living on LI and cost of homes and average salaries.

its sick how much you have to make to afford a house here. If you bought within the last three years, with no help of a DP from family, I dont know how you do it with less than $100K.

this may be personal, but for the people who answered the post...if you are making less than 50,000 are you living in a 1 family house, co-op, condo...etc. and is it in NY?

I would say the same, but with no less than $150,000 to live "my version" of comfortably
