What is "your thing?"
I see from a lot of posts that we are all overly concerned with one aspect of our child. I mean, we are concerned with everything when it comes it our kids but I have noticed that many of us have that "one thing" that scares us or we worry about constantly.
For me its choking. Megan gags on everything thats not baby food and it makes me a nervous wreck!!!!!!! Now I am paranoid that she is going to choke on her food every time I give her anything. The other day I was giving her some juice and I guess it went down the wrong way. She was fine but I panicked and threw her over my lap and started pounding her back. She started laughing when I was on the verge of a breakdown. UGH!
Whats your thing?? Feedings, sleeping, choking, etc?

Hmm...my biggest "thing" is probably sleeping, because he's been either sick or teething since November when I went back to work and I have yet to sleep 8 hours straight other than a handful of times since then. He doesn't nap well at daycare so I'm a freak about making sure he gets his sleep on the weekends. I just need to learn to use that time to catch up on MY sleep as well!
As for choking, I am more afraid of him finding something on the floor to put in his mouth than choking on food, but that's bc the only real food he eats is cheerios and puffs! He gagged and threw up watermelon so I'm not pushing it!

Choking on the dog food! Now that DS is moving around on his own, I am sooo paranoid he is going to choke on the kibble. My dog has a habbit of bringing it all over the house and as much as I try to pick it all up, I always miss one. I'm paranoid DS will find it and choke on it.
