What kind of bag for hospital bag?
I seem to have so much stuff for my hospital bag. I was wondering what type of bag everyone is bringing? Is a small upright suitcase too big? Or should I just use a duffel bag?

Re: What kind of bag for hospital bag?
I'm using a small suitcase on wheels that I use as my carry-on for work trips that are only 2 days or so. It's not so big and we can just wheel it with us and can fit anywhere. This will mainly have clothes, pads, robe, slippers, nightgowns, flipflops, towel, etc.
Also, DH will have a back-pack with more electronic stuff or stuff during delivery like mags, our cell phones, hospital folder with insurance stuff, camera, video camera, list of pple to call, some snacks for DH, lollipops, chapstick, deoderant or change of clothes for him, etc

I was planning on a duffle, but thinking about it, a small wheely case might be best, only so that it's easier to transport

I was thinking about using my small bag on the wheels. Hopefully everything will fit.

Re: What kind of bag for hospital bag?
I used a small wheely suitcase and it was perfect.
For labor, I had a tote bag with mags, candy, camera, change of clothes and toothbrush for DH (which he needed!! ended up being over 24 hours)
I left my big bag in the car and just had the tote during labor.

same here - don't want to have to 'carry' anything other than - so a bag with wheels is the way we're going!

Re: What kind of bag for hospital bag?
I brought a small carryon size rolling bag - it was SO much easier to just wheel it around than make someone have to lug it around after me. Plus it made DH's life much easier when we left the hospital b.c it was one less thing to carry.
