what kind of dish detergent for washing bottles in the dishwasher?
Can I just use regular Cascade or do I have to buy something special?

You can use regular detergent, definitely.
I use the 7th Generation liquid though, because when I was using Cascade I could smell the cleaners in the bottles still when they were clean, and that weirded me out.
