Re: Question for the moms regarding their last month of pregnancy

I guess it depends on how you're feeling, I know that my last 1 - 1 1/2 months I was certainly not in the mood to be standing and walking a lot... I was due at the end of Jan. and I remember not being able to take my son to the city to Macys to see Santa around Christmastime because I knew that I couldn't stand that long. Chat Icon

I am just about 37 weeks and I wouldn't do it.
I am so tired lately.

Re: Question for the moms regarding their last month of pregnancy

My last few weeks of PG I had a hard time getting around. For me, there is no way I would be able to do it. When I was 36 weeks we went to see the Radio City show in the city and I had a hard time walking a few blocks. Everyone is different but thats how it was for me.

The last month, no way did I want to do anything or could I. Aside from that, the airline's will not let you fly without a doctor consent note after 8 months. Everyone is different and every pregnancy is different.

Re: Question for the moms regarding their last month of pregnancy

I would opt for next year. I only had to go through the 9th month once. I still haven't forgotten how crabby & uncomfortable I was. Your ankles will be swollen - even without the walking around & the hot weather. The pressure is really tough to deal - and the last thing I'd want to do is wait on line. I couldn't even handle standing from Jamaica to Penn during that time.

If you really have your heart set on going, go for a hotel with monorail access so you can go back and rest.
