1st foods question....
My daughter Julia is 4 mths, so the doctor said I can start her on cereal and then fruits and vegies....I gave her some cereal yesterday and she loved it, but I'm not sure if I should start her on fruits first or vegies?? I read that I should start the vegies since babies tend to not like them once starting to eat fruits. When and how should I start the fruits and vegies? Thanks.

Re: 1st foods question....
What you do is give the baby one veggie for 3 days to make sure there is no reaction then after day three you start the another veggie for three days and so on.
How I did it was for lunch and dinner I would give marissa cereal and 1/2 a jar of veggies

Re: 1st foods question....
My doctor said the same thing about fruits and veggies. I started Jared on fruit first and then switched to veggies later and there really wasn't a problem. I take the cereal, add a little formula to make it creamy and then add a spoonful of fruit. I pop it in the microwave for 10 seconds and it's done. Make sure, if you're using the micro, that you stir the food up and that there aren't any hot spots in the food that could burn you baby's mouth...I'm sure you know that though...

Re: 1st foods question....
I dont buy that veggies THEN fruits nonsense. Yes, babies like sweet but Ive never had an issue with that. I started with bananas then sweet potatoes, apples, then peas. I switched back and forth between veggies and fruits.
When, you can start any time you feel you want to. I waited till 6 months with both kids only because breastmilk was enough for both of them. But you can put some in a bowl, get a bib and a camera and feed it!
