URGENT HELP NEEDED!!! Does anyone know of a 24 hour or emergency Dentist in Nassau or Suffolk??
DH needs a tooth pulled ASAP. It broke and he is in EXCRUCIATING PAIN!!!

if he calls his regualr dentist, they have an answering service that may be able to refer you to an emergency dentist.
or, in worse case scenario, i know they have a dentist on call at North Shore, so he would have to go in through the ER (but then he'd have to pay ER copays and stuff).

Thank you!! I tried googling too and found one that said they were open, but they aren't. We can't really afford the hospital because he does not have insurance right now. I am going to keep searching. I went to one a few years ago in Garden City, but I am having trouble remembering the docs name!! Thank you !!

what about trying 1-800-dentist?
they may be able to refer you somewhere..
that stinks soo much- i've been there, and completely sympathize with your DHs pain right now

We tried them.but DH lost patience because they wanted his whole life story, 7 different phone numbers and a ton of other info and he just hung up. He is feeling a bit better now, putting ambesol on it every 5 minutes. He said he'll just s u c k it up till morning. Thank you!!!

the only thing that worked for me was- i took 4 ibuprofen and rinsed with equal parts of peroxide and room temp water (like an ounce or 2 of each)- i had decided to wait until the next day too.
