Decorating Ideas-faux finish, venetian plaster, paper bag wall

A few people have asked me to post stuff that I've done in my house. So I am going to try to post the pics. The first picture is of venetian plaster in my living room. This is a great treatment. If you go to Aboffs you can get this mixed in any color Benjamin Moore paint so it is very versatile. The second picture is of my bathroom. I have ugly maroon, dk pink colored fixtures that i hated so I did a faux treatment with two different paint colors almost like a color wash to make the fictures fade away. If anyone needs directions or help just let me know!

I love what you did in the bathroom- we have the most hideous light blue fixtures (though the vanity is this ugly beige faux marble Chat Icon ) and we are going to have to live with it for a while. But I do want to do something in there, because we picked out the prettiest shower curtain and accessories.

Oops forgot a couple. The first is the bathroom treatment shown with the fixtures. the second is a paper bag wall I did that is supposed to look like simulated leather-people always ask what it is and how I did it. It is VERY easy

MrsP,
You could do a faux treatment or color wash in a blue tone to tone down the fixtures. It seems odd that this would work but it really does! FM me for instructions if you want.
