I work for a big company but they don't offer paid maternity leave either. NYS disability only pays something like, $100/week.
You will probably have to take FMLA leave and to do that you will have to be there at least 12-18 months (including the 9 you are pregnant). I'm sorry, I know, it's so unfair and ridiculous. There oughta be a law...

Is the job in NJ by any chance? NJ's version of the FMLA permits you family leave regardless of the amount of time you have been there (assuming there is at least 50 employees). It's not paid but at least you have job security. Good luck and baby dust!!

Neither does my company, just disability. I think it's 170/week before taxes.

My company doesn't either and we are a huge worldwide company!!
Disability is a max of $170 a week. Better then nothing I guess
