Need Favor Ideas......
I need Ideas for favors for Julia's 1st birthday party in July. We are having a pool party/ pony rides and petting zoo. I have no idea what to give out as favors. If anyone has any good ideas on what to give that would be great! TIA

What about beach pails with names on them for the kids and you could put a few goodies inside.

We are ending up having two parties. Our combined families are just to big for one combined party at our house. The 2nd party will have more kids so I think I'm just going to set up a candy table and place out little chinese food containers and let the kids fill the boxes up.
I just don't have any energy to do anything elaborate 
Here is a link to another site that has tons of ideas for 1st birthday parties. I wish I were as creative as some of these other moms!

I thought the beach pail idea was awesome... I found these butthey are $10 each...can add up quick. I bet you could just buy pails ate walmart and personlize them yourself???

If you wanna do the beach pails, check with Jamie, as I think she did them and she got them really cheap and the pics looked nice....maybe do a search, I know she posted it...

Thanks girls for all your help! I'm probably going to go with the shovel and pail idea, and put some cute beach stuff inside. I will check out that website posted and some stores by me. Thanks again!

This is the woman I used. She does visors- I think that would be a cute favor for a pool party if the pails and shovels are not what you are looking for.

I also love the beach pail idea --- and you can put things like stacking cups/sifters, bubbles, and a tiny tube of sunscreen inside --- so that it also appeals to the moms --- baby sunscreen that is.
Or if you wanted to play up the zoo theme you could give little zoo animal figurines, or little zoo animal books, something like that.

Also wanted to add that you should check out oriental trading ... http://www.orientaltrading.com
because they might have some shovel, pails, small decoratable beach bags for very cheap.

I would also do beach balls. I'm not sure of the age group you're looking for but it's good for all ages. I'm also doing mini kites for Maddie's party (3 year olds).
