Need help choosing wall and carpet colors
We are refinsihing our basement and it will serve as our living room when it is done. We have a light brown leather sectional couch and recliner.
I am VERY confused on wall and carpet colors!!!!
We dont want to go super dark because it is a basement and we dont want to feel closed in.
Any help?!?!

I used many of the Pottery Barn colors. If you look on their website they tell you what Benjamin Moore colors they used in their catalogue. My living room is "Misted Green" and we have light brown couches with dark furniture.

I just got the recent issue of Domino magazine and they have a picture of a brown couch. The walls looked great - they used:
BM Pismo Dunes #AC-32 ( a dusty taupe color)
BM Blue Hydrangea #2062-60 (light blue)
BM Cloud Cover #OC-25 for the trim. It looks very pretty and soothing.
